Q: How much does it cost to see a Rosen Medical Center physician?
A: The co-pay to see your Primary Care Provider (PCP) is $5.00. Payroll deduction or credit card only (unless you are having a physical exam in which case there is no copay)

Q: Is a referral required to see in-house Chiro and Physical Therapy?
A: A referral is not required to see our in-house chiropractor. Call the Rosen Medical Center to schedule an appointment. A referral is also not required to see CORA Physical Therapy for the first month only. If additional visits are needed, the CORA coordinator will request one from the referral department.

Q: Is a referral required to see a specialist?
A: Yes. A referral is required to see a specialist. Only in-network specialists are covered.

Q: Which hospitals are we associated with?
A: All hospitals in the Orlando Health system including Winnie Palmer, Nemours, and HCA hospitals.

Q: How do I get an EAP authorization?
A: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free service provided to all associates and their families. Contact the number 866-248-4094 to speak to a mental health counselor who will provide you with the authorization number and a list of mental health counselors near your home. EAP covers eight (8) visits per concern.

Next Steps counseling is an onsite counseling group that is part of our EAP program. They accept medical referrals from RMC.

Q: As a new patient to Rosen Medical Center, what are the steps to see a provider?
A: Call the Rosen Medical Center to schedule your first initial appointment. Have your insurance information at hand.

Q What if I can’t make my appointment to Rosen Medical Center?
A: To avoid a no-show fee, please call Rosen Medical Center at least 24 hours in advance to let us know that you cannot make your appointment.

Q: How much is the co-pay if I was admitted at the hospital?
A: If you are admitted, the co-pay is $750 in-network; $1,000 out of network. Total inpatient copays per calendar year will not exceed: $1,500 for individual coverage and $3,000 for family coverage.

Q: As a new patient, what are the protocols to request a new referral or medication refill?
A: As a new patient, you must be seen by any of our providers to establish care prior to authorizing any referrals or medication refills.

Q: If I have an order from my specialist to have labs drawn, can I go to other facilities?
A: With your lab order, you may go to any Quest Diagnostics lab facilities or any Orlando Health LabWorks facility.

Q: What do I do if I need health advice or if I have an emergency after hours?
A: You may call Apex at 855-245-8395 to speak to a medical professional.

Q: Can I use the gym at the Rosen Medical Center?
A: Yes, during business hours or when attending a fitness class and after signing the appropriate waiver form.

Q: Does the Rosen Medical Center offer any special pharmacy programs?
A: The Rosen Medical Center offers two pharmacy programs:

  1. Free generic medications: Any prescribed brand medication that has a generic will be free only at Walmart and Sam’s Club Pharmacies.
  2. Canusa program: Any maintenance medication prescribed by any of your providers that is listed on the Canusa program will be mailed to your home for free.
